Welcome To The Grant Smith Physio Therapy Centre
At our centre in Westby Street, Lytham our team of professionals provide a wide range of therapies designed to treat a number of acute and chronic physical conditions afflicting persons in every age group.
My name is Mark Smith and it is my privilege to manage this family-run business founded by my father some 50 years ago. Here under one roof can be found a multi-disciplined and varied spectrum of services including:
Physiotherapy- Massage Therapy
- Aromatherapy
- Acupuncture
- Podiatry
- Aqua Therapy
- Hypnotherapy
- Complementary Therapies
- Herbal Medicine
- Tai Chi And Qigong
- Sports Medicine
- Nutrition
At the outset each patient is offered an initial assessment as a means to determine an accurate diagnosis of the problem. Then, in the skilled hands of our practitioners, therapies are tailored to relieve and ameliorate acute conditions, including sports injuries, and those of a chronic nature which will require ongoing, long-term treatment.
We serve a clientele which includes residents of Lytham itself, but with a coverage that extends up the Fylde coast to include St Anne’s, Blackpool and eastwards into the villages of Warton and Freckleton. There is ample provision for access to the centre for patients in wheelchairs or who have a particular issue with mobility. Nevertheless, we are always happy to carry out home visits for those who find it particularly difficult or impractical to come to the centre.
All our practitioners are registered with the Health Professions Council and the centre is open most weekdays between 9.00am and 8.00pm and on Saturday mornings between 9.00am and 1.00pm.
Surprisingly enough, we find that some people have attuned themselves to the idea that musculo-skeletal dysfunction and all its associated pain and discomfort is just something that has to be put up with, to be endured with only temporary relief being achieved through the occasional use of painkillers. Not so. The therapies we provide have a proven reputation of effective relief and improvement, often transforming lives which have been blighted by pain for many years.
Early intervention in itself is known to be a valuable factor in enhancing a successful outcome and we are always keen to check out all the latest developments in therapeutic techniques as they emerge.
The message is simple: you do not have to put up with it! So contact us today to find out how our therapies can work to bring you some blessed, long-lasting relief.
